What is a practicing Catholic?

I know a successful, local businessman, a decent man that reaches out to support the local community. I am sure he considers himself a decent Catholic because he decorates his businesses with religious statues and holy pictures. The statues have scapulars and multiple rosaries hanging from their necks. His businesses keep him busy, so he doesn’t attend Mass. If you do not go to Mass and receive the Eucharist you are not a practicing Catholic!!!! If folks want to know the blueprint that they need to follow to get into heaven, It has seven simple steps……..participate in the Seven Sacraments! Have your children baptized, go to confession, go to Mass, get married in the Catholic Church, not on the beach encourage your sons to become holy Priests and at the end of life receive Extreme Unction!
