New Year

As the Church year ends and the new year begins on the first Sunday of Advent, Holy Mother Church challenges at Mass with readings from the the Book of Revelation. The end of the year directs us to the end times. It is very appropriate. Some people are frightened by what they read or hear, my response is “do not be afraid!” Apocryphal writings should not cause fear but should comfort us by the glory to be uncovered.
