Marriage

I believe that most Priests have a higher regard for the Sacrament of Marriage than the couples entering into it. I am turned off by “destination” weddings and “gag” elements to weddings such as a dog being the ring bearer. I have toured so many Catholic Churches throughout the world and cannot understand why couples would not choose a religious venue for their ceremony. The unity of the Sacrament deserves to be celebrated in the most beautiful edifice one can choose. With Jesus present in the Eucharist at the wedding, the couple is starting off their life on the strongest footing possible!! St. Daniel the Stylite, Ora Pro Nobis!!!!
