Churches

I am almost embarrassed to watch video clips of so-called “modern” worship services. Usually, the pastor is wear flip-flops, jeans and a t-shirt to the backdrop of “worship bands” and flat screen TV’s. Rarely can they tell you what the Scriptures “mean” rather, they focus on how the Scriptures should make you “feel.” I have visited hundreds of Churches throughout the world. In the Catholic perspective, a Church structure is a teaching tool. A Church building should draw you deeper into the faith. All of your senses should be activated. Supermarket, storefront auditorium churches just don’t cut it!!! St. Daniel the Stylite, Pray for Us!!!!
