Youth II

Almost 20 years ago, I recommended to a young man, that he read the first encyclical of Benedict XVI, “Deus Caritas Est” or “God is Love.” Someone overheard our conversation about “love” and reported me to the diocese. I had to defend myself because I was talking about a Papal encyclical!!! I would think most sane people would want the young people in their families to know how to better live out Christian love. I cringe when I hear uninformed Christians defend gay “marriage” by saying, “love is love.” No, —— “agape” aka. Christian love, means having the courage to tell others that they are doing wrong and that you love them enough to tell them their souls are in jeopardy!!! St. Daniel the Stylite Ora Pro Nobis!!!!
